If you`re looking at how to get to the city from the airport, there are various ways, including taking the bus, the Airtrain, or a hire car, limousine or taxi. All services can be booked at the Visitor Information Centre.
The Airtrain is probably the cheapest way into the city.

While it's not the fastest or easiest if you don't know where you're going, it is well explained on the signs. A one way Airtrain ticket is a very reasonable price to the city.
You will have to pay for any other zones you may need to travel across to get to your destination, and this will depend on where you are staying.
It leaves from both the domestic and international terminals and takes about 30 minutes into the city.
If you're in transit in the airport, or just really early for your flight, the best diversion is the Direct Factory Outlet shopping that is just around the corner.
There's a free shuttle bus that leaves from Level 4 of the international terminal and will take you to the shopping at Airport Village.
The ride takes about 10 minutes and runs frequently throughout the day so you won't be stranded and miss your flight. There are also various shops and eateries in the airport to pass the time if you're waiting around.
The great thing about Brisbane Airport is it's size.
It is large enough to have facilities for waiting out the check-in time but isn't so huge you get lost.
